Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero had everything to follow in the sporting footsteps of his ancestors. A trivial accident decided otherwise and put an end to his sporting career. However, that does not detract from his exceptional qualities that he inherited from his parents and grandparents. Don’t Touch is a son of Diamant de Semilly from China Touh Hero (Chin Chin x Caretino) and she is also the mother of Akarad Hero Z, the five-star GP horse of Pieter Clemens from the stables of Jos Lansink. Everything indicates that Don’t Touch is an excellent stallion who passes on his qualities. For example, he is the father of the young stallion Dourkan Hero Z, out of Zinka de Kalvarie Z (Zandor Z x Calvaro Z). Dourkan was the star of the Zangersheide stallion inspection and was purchased by Zangersheide afterwards. Dourkan Hero Z is in turn also sought after as a stallion and is trained by Christian Ahlmann. Don’t Touch has another promising son: the seven-year-old Dr Touch de Tiji, out of Dune D’Hoogpoort (Calvaro Z x Heartbreaker), who is half owned by Niels Bruynseels. As a sport stallion he was not granted, as a breeding stallion his offspring show that Don’t Touch is a guaranteed sire.

Gudrun Patteet: ‘It is no coincidence that many top riders have a young Don’t Touch in their stables’.
Gudrun Patteet confirms this, and she still remembers everything about her first date with Don’t Touch. ‘You couldn’t miss him’, Gudrun smiles: ‘I saw him for the first time in Hulsterlo, where he jumped a training course over 1.20m. It was at the beginning of the year that he would turn 6 and Don’t Touch stood out. He simply had everything: his charisma, his canter, his technique. You couldn’t miss him. Everyone saw that. Don’t Touch was by far the best of his generation. We know the story of his injury, because he is so exceptionally good, it would be a shame for breeding not to use him as a stallion. Don’t Touch is a complete horse that he combines with a good bloodline. It’s simple, all my best mares, such as Sea Coast Kashmira Z and Sea Coast Coco Berlini, carry or have a foal by Don’t Touch, who clearly leaves his mark on his offspring. When you see his foals and young horses, you recognize the father. They stand out and I am already looking forward to competing with him in a few years. He has never been able to prove it, but Don’t Touch is one of the best horses I have ever ridden in terms of feeling and potential. He continues that line as a stallion. In Oliva I saw many young horses and Don’t Touch’s offspring stood out there. He arouses interest among fellow riders who spontaneously stop when his offspring appear in the ring. It is no coincidence that many top riders have a young Don’t Touch in their stable.’

Sea Coast and Tiji Stables want to give their Don’t Touch Tiji Hero the chances he deserves as a stallion, because he is an undeniable added value for breeding. Don’t Touch is available for €1,200 when pregnant and no deposit is requested. In other words, if your mare is not pregnant, no stud fee has to be paid.
